Our Philosophy and The Dream

Our curriculum is inspired by the Reggio-Emilia approach, which believes that children come into the world prepared to learn and share their thinking. Children are seen as curious, scientific thinkers interested in building relationships and constructing their learning. When working in collaboration, children, teachers, and parents are the co-creators of a culture unique to the school.

The environment acts as a third teacher and is set up to be aesthetically pleasing, intriguing, joyful, and surprising. The space promotes collaboration, flexibility, and relationships with opportunities for both small and large group explorations. Materials are often open-ended and provoke children to question, experiment, and create representations of their theories and ideas.
